Super Micro Computer shares climbed 3% following the announcement of a new AI system developed in collaboration with Nvidia. The partnership aims to accelerate enterprise AI adoption by offering pre-built solutions that eliminate the need for custom infrastructure development.

The 'AI Factory' platform integrates Super Micro's server hardware with Nvidia's Spectrum-X networking technology and AI software stack. Available in configurations ranging from 32 to 256 GPUs, the system enables simultaneous training and inference operations—a critical capability as businesses transition from AI experimentation to production deployment.

CEO Charles Liang positioned the offering as democratizing access to advanced AI capabilities, particularly for non-tech enterprises. The collaboration leverages Nvidia's latest GB300 and HGX B300 platforms to deliver what Liang described as 'turnkey AI infrastructure for the next phase of adoption.'
